The McGillis School has a strong commitment to students with diverse economic and social backgrounds. Every year, support from our Annual Gala and contributions from parents and friends make a McGillis School education possible for many students.
Financial aid awards are granted every year based on a family’s ability to meet the cost of an independent school education. These awards are not loans and do not need to be paid back. This assistance is given to families who show financial need, defined as the difference between a child’s educational expenses and the family’s ability to contribute toward a child’s educational expenses.
Decisions are made by the Financial Aid Committee (as determined by the National Association of Independent School’s School and Student Services, third-party financial needs assessment).
All financial information provided to The McGillis School is completely confidential. Admission decisions are made independent of the financial aid award process.
The online application for financial aid for the 2013-2014 school year is available at http://sss.nais.org/parents/pages/default.aspx. The McGillis school code for the application is 4321. All financial application forms are due Monday, February 25th.
